The Rains of Castamere

If you've never seen "Game of Thrones" or read the books, you've missed out on some incredible television and ALSO music so... do yourself a favor and use that free 2 week trial HBO gives you and binge the whole series. It's very worth the watch if only for the special effects, makeup, and music.

"The Rains of Castamere" is a song written by George RR Martin and Ramin Djawadi, a composer also famous for his work on the Marvel movie Iron Man so, you know, the guy has range. It's a wonderful song and if you find the original out there it's a little underwhelming at first listen, but after several dozen re-listens you might begin to find yourself in the same place I found myself, which is wanting to take the existing version and make it more aggressive.
