Jack’s Lament

“Jack’s Lament” is a wonderful song from “The Nightmare Before Christmas”, performed by everyone’s favorite charming menace, Jack Skellington. Part of the challenge of recording this song is in the schizophrenic nature of Jack’s voice. One moment it’s speaking, the next it’s screaming, the next it’s singing sweetly, so in that regard this was quite the kerfuffle of a song to perform, BUT I do believe I was able to bring a certain something extra terrifying to the mix. I hope you agree.
